Magnetic Signs for Vehicles
Solvent screen printed magnetic signs are definately better quality than digitally printed magnetic signs, but if you order a large quantity, they can also be less expensive.
We may be the last company on earth that screen prints magnetic signs. Because magnetic signs usually are replaced every 2 years or so, the amazing fade-resistance of solvent screen printing is not appreciated as much as with a decal or metal sign that needs to last a long time outdoors. But there is still a few advantages with solvent screen printed magnetic signs.
1) Unlike digitally printed signs, solvent screen printed signs do not require a clear overlaminate to prevent scratching, because solvent screen printing does not scratch off. Clear overlaminates make a magnetic signs stiff, especially in cold weather, which can prevent the sign from adhering to the steel surface, and result in the sign blowing off at highway speeds.

Our magnetic signs are made with Durabond TM magnetic vinyl sheeting, considered to be "the most durable magnetic vinyl you can buy" Standard size is 24" x 12", but any shape or size is possible. White background is normal, but we can screen print any color background, including day-glow and mettalics. |

Magnetic signs are usually rated for 2 years exterior
use. This is ONLY because people do not take care of them or they blow off at high speeds. WE USE THE HIGHEST QUALITY DURABOND MAGNETIC SHEETING. WE HAVE MAGNETIC SIGNS THAT ARE STILL BEING USED AFTER 20 YEARS. IF YOU TAKE CARE OF THEM, THEY WILL LAST. They should be put on a clean flat metal surface (no plastic filler). When
vehicle is cleaned, they should be removed and backs wiped before applying to dry vehicle.
Magnetics should not be placed on a vehicle under 55 degrees F., but once they are on,
they will stay on in freezing conditions.
