Custom Metal Numbers For Self-Storage Units

Originally we offered a screen printed numbers set 1-40 on this page but quickly found that every storage unit is unique and requires a combination of different numbers, so a stock item would not fulfill the need. We can custom make aluminum signs in any size, color, number combination or quantity, to fit the needs of your facility. We can also do signs with letters if that is how you number your units. Just send us an email with your needs and we will reply back with a customized quote.
We have two options, for custom signage……
Option 1. The signs can be made with our PermaEtch technique. PermaEtch aluminum signs have a life expectancy of 25 years. The numbers or letters are laser etched into a stencil and then the signs screen printed with a solvent based ink. The signs are put thru an oven and are baked at 325 degrees to cure. The finished result is a printed number that is more durable than the white enamel that is on the aluminum.
Option 2. The signs can be made with premium outdoor vinyl graphics. If you want a long term sign but don’t want to commit to the PermaEtch, we can make your aluminum signs with 7+ year 2 mil vinyl graphics. These signs will last a lot longer than 7 years outdoors, especially if you do not choose a color that fades, like red or green. Getting signs made with vinyl graphics will save you roughly 20% in cost compared to the PermaEtch signs. Colors available are Black, Saphire Blue, Vivid Blue, Red, and Green.

This may suprise you, but many outdoor signs that are sold on the internet are digitally printed. Look carefully at what they say about outdoor longevity. One of the biggest sellers admits "5 years". If you only need a sign to last 5 years, buy digital. They look beautiful for a few years, and they're less expensive because they can be made quickly and shipped out within 24 hours.
