We solvent screen print aluminum numbers with an ink that the ink manufacturer says is 4x as durable outdoors as oil-based enamel. WE BAKE IT AT UP TO 400 DEGREES. THERE IS NO WAY A DIGITAL-PRINTED NUMBER OR EVEN A UV SCREEN PRINTED NUMBER CAN COMPETE FOR LONGEVITY OUTDOORS. For one-of-a-kind metal signs, Anytime Sign has a proprietary manufacturing process called PermaEtch™, which uses the same long-lasting 400 degree baked ink we use for solvent screen printed signs.
This may surprise you, but many of the aluminum signs that are sold on the internet are digitally printed. Look carefully at what they say about outdoor longevity. If you only need a sign to last 5 years, buy digital. They look beautiful for a few years, and they're less expensive because they can be made quickly and shipped out within 24 hours. Aerial Pole Tags
Our Arial Pole Tags are made of 3.75" x
5" x .040" yellow aluminum with .25" radius corners and four 9/64"
punched holes. The image is screen printed, not digital printing or flexography.
Our screen printed signs are printed using a solvent based ink that is cured at 400 degrees. These signs will last at least 40 years outdoors. The ink is scratch and solvent resistant. It will not chalk or fade.
