For fast and perfect installation of 911 numbers on Mailbox Sign Plaque or Post Sign plaque, use the 911 Numbers Layout board instructions below.
1) Line up layout Board to table edge and screw down or tape on to table.2) Butt edge of Sign Plaque against ruler. Tape Plaque down on 2 sides.

Position numbers so they touch ruler. (Use black guidelines for horizontal layout and gray
guidelines for vertical layout. Make sure numbers are centered on Plaque. There are
guidelines for every possible layout. The little numbers printed on the guidelines merely
show equal distance from the center.)
3) Tape numbers individually to ruler with 1" masking tape. We strongly recommend the use of a professional , weighted Tape Dispenser. Use 2" piece for horizontal layout and 3 1/2" piece for vertical layout.
5) Flip numbers over.
A) Dig mat knife into corner of number
backing.
B) Peel number backing off.
C) Squeegee number on to sign plaque.
(Always hold number off the plaque surface until squeegee presses it down. This will
prevent wrinkles and bubbles)
7) Remove masking tape from tops of
numbers. (The preferred method is peeling tape away from the number instead of toward the
number.)
8) Remove Sign Plaque from layout board and trim
off excess decal material (If there is any) hanging off the edge of the Sign Plaque.
Repeat all steps on other side of Sign Plaque. (Make sure numbers are facing the correct
way.)
